All of The Kitchen Shop staff involved with my project were very knowledgeable and worked well as a team. Both sales and installation were excellent. The installation crew was timely, neat, courteous and very careful while on the job. I'll be happy to use you in the future and will certainly send our friends your way. It turned out better than we thought it would. –Ray R.

KITCHEN SELECTION PROCESS

Selections Based on Promotions – Before your selections are completed your designer will review all of the manufacturer promotional opportunities to be sure every possible savings has been included.

Order Timing

Working with the Kitchen Shop installation team means that timing of the ordering can be done to keep pace with your installation plan.

Demolition and Salvage

In many kitchen remodels, there is much that can be salvaged and repurposed. Let us know if those cabinets are slated for re–use in your home or garage. We can give you a reasonable price for the re–install. Or, if you haven't heard about Habitat for Humanity's ReStore, this is a great way to help a great organization by donating cabinets, fixtures and even appliances. The dollars from resale go directly to support Habitat programs.

Flooring

Because the Kitchen Shop owns a flooring store in Jackson, your flooring selections can be included in your plan. Let your designer know what type of floor finishes you prefer and a selection/sample array will be sent to your store. Wood, vinyls, slate, tile – we have it all, from all of the top manufacturers.

Payment terms

Once your design and installation plan is completed, you will receive a presentation for your final approval. The terms of the payment will be addressed at this time. Kitchen Shop has financing sources available or will work with your lender on prescribed phases of payout on the project. You can rely on the Kitchen Shop team to assist with the necessary documentation and paperwork for draws until completion. Ordering will not begin until payments are received.

Change Orders

While we always work to have all your questions answered before the project begins, sometime changes occur during the course of the installation. Often these changes come from you as you see the project unfold. Communication is the most important thing when it comes to these changes. Work with your designer and installation team to determine whether your hoped for change is budget and time neutral or if the change will have a substantial impact on the budget and timing of the project. Changes you approve will be managed with official change orders.
